The Canada Palestine Cultural Association is planning an emergency protest and sit-in TOMORROW, Oct 18 at 5 p.m. They will be protesting to denounce the series of devastating incidents taking place in Gaza, including the bombing of the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital by occupation forces.
The Protest will be held at the Alberta Legislature, and the address is 10800 97 AVE NW, Edmonton. In terms of what to bring, if you can please dress in Palestinian colours, wear your Kuffiyah, bring posters and flags. The CPCA is also asking protesters to travel in pairs or groups for safety and support, not to engage with anti-protestors, not to use hateful rhetoric of any kind towards any group, ignore any attempts to provoke or antagonize you and not to climb on public property.
